To be honest, my journey with grades has been an uphill battle: from straight Bs at A Levels to a 4.87/5 GPA at NUS, and then an MPhil in the Sociology of Marginality and Exclusion at the University of Cambridge. I share this not to recite a CV, but because the climb taught me what I now try to pass on — that ability is rarely fixed, and that the distance between "not yet" and "got it" is mostly made of patience, and the right kind of help.

I had the privilege of being taught by teachers and mentors who were genuinely invested in my wellbeing — not just my grades, but me. That kind of care leaves a mark. It's why I teach: a quiet wish to pay forward what was given to me, to the students who come after.

What I offer: one-to-one tuition in English and General Paper for Primary School / Secondary School / A Level / JC students — essay writing, content, and exam-ready critical thinking.
Format: 90-120-minute lessons (based on preference), in person or online.
Rate: $90 per hour. First session $50 so we can check the fit.
